Heard at our house last night

Me: "kaiden did you pass gas?"

Kaiden: "yes"

Me: "what do you say?"

K: shakes head..."my mouth is full!"...finishes chewing..."excuse me"

a few minutes pass

M: "did you pass gas again?" "what do you say?"

K: "Thanks!"

i had to leave the room and recompose my self



later that evening

Me: "kaiden you are not the daddy, mind your business and mommy and daddy will handle Brinley"

K: "I am a big Daddy!"

M: "No, you are only a daddy after you get married and your wife has a baby"

K: "Im not married?!"

M: "nope not yet buddy"

K: still confused a little " Yes! I got married at Uncle Jeremys Wedding!"

Hillarious I tell you!

We are waiting for Daddy to come home

My kitchen is a mess from baking all afternoon

Anticipating our weekend spent with friends and family

My heart is full hearing my son recite the christmas story

My brain is going crazy trying to think of all the things to get done

Cant wait to see my kids celebrate this season with us

My floor is a disaster(thanks to a broken vacuum!)

Am thankfull for a computer(our 'unexpected' christmas gift to each other this year)

Loving all the white stuff outside!

Really wishing i had a card reader to get and edit the pictures off my camera

Trying to balance my mommy duties and regain a little sanity.. hard to do

really wants to show my kids the meaning of this season by giving of ourselfs
