3 weeks and a menu

I am not going to talk about how my little itty bitty babe is already three weeks old because all the hormones surging through my body will make me cry.... so instead i will talk about how cute and little he still is and i still just want to sit and hold him and squish and kiss his little cheeks all day long.. i have to tear myself away from him just to do something constructive like....laundry or make food for the children in my house who think they are starving...

he is just too cute for words...

He is actually a really good baby. He only really fusses if he has a dirty diaper or if he is hungry. He is a great sleeper. and only wakes me up a few times  night with2-4 hour stretches.. which i cant complain. I remember with Kaiden i wasnt sleeping AT. ALL... but then after Brinley and now with Cooper i really appreciate the art of Swaddling.. yes people this is called baby magic and if i would have known that with Kaiden i think i would have actually slept in the first months. Cooper is starting to have more awake periods. i love seeing his little round eyes all open wide taking in the world around him. his home. his family. the craziness that is us. Its a time when you really start to see a little personality in him.

I also am back on the menu planning wagon.. well i was never really off ( how do people live without meal planning??!!) but i wanted to start back on posting my weekly menus. i had good plans for doing it on Monday but hey life happens.. here is what we have this week.

Monday: Salmon and Corn chowder.... Love this soup..
Tuesday: BBQ Chicken Sandwiches with Sweet Potato Fries (the chicken i bought and roasted off myself.. i shred the meat and use or freeze it and then use the rest of the chicken to make chicken stock.. SO healthy for you its unbelievable.. make sure you buy a good chicken.. not just any old bird!) ( also i used bottled bbq sauce this time but the recipe in the link is amazing! i have made it many times and love it!)
Wednesday: Taco night... enough said
Thursday: Bowtie Lasagna.. this recipe is so fast and easy.. i make it all the time...
Friday: Pizza... yum....

p.s. he is already bored with the camera.....

maybe it's the 3rd baby syndrom because that's all I wanted to do with Kyle and then again with Ryan especially since I knew he would be my last baby. Enjoy the moments while they last.
